Riverlife and Fortitude blow the lid off top brews.
Brace yourselves beer lovers – this season’s Five Flavours event will blow the lid off how to brew the perfect Fortitude beer.
In what is likely to be the most sensational Five Flavours tasting yet, Fortitude Brewing Co owner Ged Connors is sharing the secrets of how to brew his ANZUS IPA with a go-to-whoa onsite demonstration.
A see, smell and sample experience, patrons will be treated to every aspect of the boutique brewing process.
Riverlife general manager Josh Wicks said the event would mark the fifth Five Flavours event, making it cause for special celebration.
“Fortitude has brewed a Belgian White beer to mark the occasion, featuring juniper berry, coriander and orange peel, which is such a great honour for Five Flavours,” Mr Wicks said.
“The company will also showcase its flagship beer Original Golden Ale, Standard Lager, ANZUS IPA and their increasingly popular Summer Light.”
Fortitude Brewing Company launched in 2013 and has already established itself as a market leader in the Brisbane Craft Beer scene.
While Five Flavours is always about the beer, hand crafted amber fluids deserve good companions – great friends, food and entertainment.
Neil James heads a line-up of five fabulous acoustic artists with Ebony Rose, Russ Walker, J&R Duo and Levy Ten set to keep the tempo totally chilled right through the afternoon.
Five Flavours kicks off at 12:00pm Saturday 28 June at Riverlife, Kangaroo Point.
In honour of its fifth Five Flavours, Riverlife is inviting patrons to use the Promotional Code – fiveflavours when booking online at 5flavours.com.au for a half-price discount on tickets.
Mr Wicks said he hoped the event would draw record numbers with interest in local boutique beers of Fortitude’s calibre at an all-time high.
“Five Flavours is Brisbane at its best with its riverfront location, perfect beer and great food and fun.” Mr Wicks said.
